Every time you play the game will create a new dungeon full of challenges and surprises for you in 5 different environments populated with monsters and ancient magical artifacts.

There are six different player classes, each one designed with an unique play style. Some of them are combat focused while others must rely on the items found on the dungeon to survive.

As you advance through the game, you will find more than 40 different monsters with distinct skills and features, you will be able to charm them using magic spells and make them follow you in your quest; using ancient magic found in the dungeon you will also unlock the powers and skills hidden on their evolved forms.

Unlike classic roguelikes adapted to modern media, in Ananias there is no cumbersome movement or complex commands, however all the features from the genre that make the games fun are kept: turn based combat, random level generation and long term item strategy are among the things that make every adventure into the dungeon enjoyable.

You can also play along with your friends in the online mode; the game keep all friends up to date with their adventures in real time, so you can set up challenges or just have fun seeing your friend's characters die in the dungeon.

There are 6 classes, each one with its own strengths and weaknesses:

Alchemist

* Shoots liquid at enemies (Acid, Liquid Fire, and other potions)

* Can mix reagents into potions without danger of explosion.

* Starts with powerful potions (Flame Potion for example which deals a lot of fire damage when thrown)

Arcane

* Can cast the most powerful spells without danger of backfiring

* Extends power of magic wands

* Starts with powerful spells (like Charm Monster which makes any creature become your ally)

Paladin

* Can use all weapons and armor

* Blocks attacks using his shield

* Extends lifetime of weapons

Hunter

* Never misses a shot with a bow

* Performs critical damage with bows

* Prevents arrows from breaking

Barbarian

* Charges against enemies while running.

* Gains strength when low on health.

* Recovers health by defeating foes.

Slayer

* Can slash through enemies while walking

* Jumps over the enemies from the distance

* Expert with throwing knifes and axes

The levels in the dungeon are randomly generated every time you play, so you have to explore the level gathering useful equipment and looking the stairs to the next level, while avoiding death and managing your limited resources.

...will you drop your spare weapon and carry this potion with you, knowing it could be useful on the next level?

...will you risk attacking a group of enemies to fetch that powerful armor that could save your life? or will you better run away to save your hitpoints

...will you withstand the enemy attacks to reach the backrow and kill the phantom who is constantly healing all others?

...will you carry with you that powerful weapon to use it against strong enemies two levels below, even if that means using up inventory space and attacking with a weaker weapon?

Ci sono sei diverse classi dei giocatori, ognuna progettata con uno stile di gioco unico. Alcuni di loro sono combattimenti incentrato mentre altri devono fare affidamento sulle voci presenti nella prigione per sopravvivere.

Come si avanza nel gioco, troverete più di 40 diversi mostri con abilità e caratteristiche diverse, si sarà in grado a loro fascino con incantesimi e fare li seguono nella vostra ricerca; con antica magia trovata nel dungeon potrete anche sbloccare i poteri e le competenze nascosti sulle loro forme evolute.

A differenza roguelikes classici adattati ai media moderni, in Anania non c'è movimento ingombrante o comandi complessi, però tutte le caratteristiche del genere che rendono il divertimento giochi sono tenuti: trasformare il combattimento basato, la generazione casuale di livello e la strategia di prodotto a lungo termine sono tra le cose che rendono ogni avventura nel dungeon piacevole.

Si può anche giocare con i tuoi amici nella modalità on-line; il gioco di tenere tutti gli amici aggiornati con le loro avventure in tempo reale, in modo da poter configurare sfide o semplicemente divertirsi vedendo i personaggi dei tuoi amici morire in prigione.

Ci sono 6 classi, ognuna con le proprie forze e debolezze:

Alchimista

* Spara liquido a nemici (acido, fuoco liquido, e altre pozioni)

* Può mescolare i reagenti in pozioni senza pericolo di esplosione.

* Inizia con potenti pozioni (Flame Potion per esempio che si occupa un sacco di danni da fuoco quando viene lanciato)

Arcano

* Può lanciare gli incantesimi più potenti, senza pericolo di ritorno di fiamma

* Estende potere di bacchette magiche

* Inizia con potenti incantesimi (come Monster fascino che rende ogni creatura diventare il vostro alleato)

Paladino

* Può usare tutte le armi e le armature

* Blocca attacchi con lo scudo

* Estende vita di armi

Cacciatore

* Non sbaglia mai un colpo con un inchino

* Esegue danno critico con archi

* Impedisce frecce rottura

Barbaro

* Le accuse contro i nemici durante la corsa.

* Guadagni forza quando basso sulla salute.

* Recupera salute sconfiggendo nemici.

Uccisore

* Può tagliare attraverso i nemici mentre si cammina

* Consente di scorrere i nemici dalla distanza

* Expert con coltelli da lancio e assi

I livelli di dungeon sono generati in modo casuale ogni volta che si gioca, quindi bisogna esplorare il livello di raccolta di attrezzature utili e guardando le scale fino al livello successivo, evitando la morte e la gestione delle risorse limitate.

... Farai cadere l'arma di riserva e portare questa pozione con voi, sapendo che potrebbe essere utile al livello successivo?

... Farai rischiare attaccando un gruppo di nemici per recuperare quella potente armatura che potrebbe salvare la vostra vita? o si è meglio scappare per salvare le hitpoint

... Farai resistere agli attacchi nemici per raggiungere il backrow e uccidere il fantasma che è costantemente risanando tutti gli altri?

... Vi portate con voi l'arma potente per usarlo contro i nemici forti due livelli sotto, anche se questo significa utilizzare lo spazio di inventario e attaccare con un'arma più debole?

Le probabilità sono contro di voi, ma se si muore c'è sempre la possibilità di ricominciare e di desiderare di meglio fortuna
